Building a new character for a tabletop rpg is always an exciting time for new discoveries and beginnings. Some of us at times either find the next phase of character creation a challenge or ignore it all together. Developing a character’s personality can often be a slow process as the character reveals its personality through game play. Sometimes you can create a deeply flawed individual with almost a lifetime of trauma and bad decisions. On other occasions a bland cookie cutter character whose personality is as empty of characterization as the sheet of numbers you wrote the character’s stats on. A unique personality can’t be made from a list boring numbers.
