The Dead City of Pyre-Chrypt

Twenty eight pages of original maps, monsters, and mayhem! BEHOLD! The ancient walled fortress city-state of Pyre-Chrypt! Whispered legends tell the tale of a mysterious plague that wiped out the entire populace. Locking the front gates, the city died in solitude, its treasures forever entombed. It is rumored that great artifacts hide behind the walls somewhere in the dead city. Stories also hold that the source of the plague, and great power, is still present, somewhere in the heart of the city, locked in a giant iron ziggurat. Only the truly foolish and foolishly brave dare enter. Which one are you?

This setting is intended to be location agnostic. It can be at the edge of Sarkash, in Bergen-Chrypt, on the steppes of Tveland, the plains of Kergus, or anywhere in the Dying World. Put it where you see fit to have it, that makes sense for your table.

The purpose of this location is as a tool/expansion that incorporates and fully utilizes the random generation elements of MÖRK BORG. It references official MÖRK BORG and MÖRK BORG Cult content. It’s relatively simple and well suited for improvisational play. It can be easily adapted for your game of choice (if MÖRK BORG isn’t your jam)

While I support making this your own at the table, don’t use this content for racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or discriminatory games of any kind. I ain’t down with that.
