Raven Roost Cutthroat

These elite killers have picked up the nickname= “cutthroat” from those who have seen them in action and survived. They sta=lk isolated sentries and distracted defenders, jumping up from behind to wr=ap garrote wire around their target’s throat and drive daggers into their v=ulnerable spots. Alone in a straight fight, these cutthroats are weak fight=ers and generally seek to flee and set up an ambush later. When fighting wi=th allies or attacking an unaware foe however, they are extremely lethal an=d capable of ending a life in moments.

Arterial Cut. When the cutthroat hits a cre=ature it’s grappling with a melee weapon attack, that attack deals an extra= 11 (2d10) damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution savi=ng throw or lose 5 (1d10) hit points at the start of each of its turns due =to a bleeding wound. Each time the cutthroat hits the wounded target while =grappling it, the damage dealt by the wound increases by 5 (1d10). The woun=ded creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, e=nding the effect on itself on a success, and any creature can take an actio=n to stanch the wound with a successful DC 12 Wisdom (Medicine) check. The =wound also closes if the target receives magical healing.

Garrote. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 t=o hit, reach 5 ft., one creature that the cutthroat has advantage on attack= rolls against, or a creature that’s flanked by the cutthroat, incapacitate=d, or restrained. Hit: The cutthroat grapples the target (escape D=C 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the cutthroat= has half-cover against attacks.
Reactions
Quick Cut. When a creature escapes the cutthroat’s grapple, the cutthroat can make= a melee weapon attack against that creature.
