“It was of this place that Abdul Alhazred the mad poet dreamed on the night before he sang his unexplainable couplet:
“That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.” “
Hey everyone, I am pleased to present the first part of the “Tomb of Nephren-Ka” map!
How did our investigators end up there…
Thanks to an ancestral book, by chance, or following a plane crash?
Anyway, here they are, ready to enter an old temple lost in the Egyptian Sahara.
The temple of Nephren-ka, which was in the good old days the host of the Black Pharaoh, no less. We can expect vicious traps, and the most unhealthy encounters.
But if we can reach the end, it is obvious that this discovery will make our fame…
(Next week you will know why your investigators got into this mess!)
The first part is 2 maps : A map of the entrance (Day/Night/Insane weather), and a map of a temple full of traps. (which leads to… the continuation of the temple).
The situational tokens manage a ray system.
The goal is to place 4 scepters that direct the rays to open the last door.
Obviously, you’ll have to understand the trick, then go into a room with slabs that collapse under your steps, a room filled with snakes, or another with spears that may require good dodging rolls.C2A0
If you are interested there is a more complete explanation in the user manual PDF at the end of the post.
But you don’t have to play with it at all. And just simply take the map.
