Wood Woad Juggernaut

The treants of the Harken Forest would be much more familiar to those from outside the Vale. They have more “standard” and common abilities, owing to the Winterbole treants gaining additional powers from their pacts with primal beings. Their attitudes and behaviors are no more comforting than their Winterbole enemies however, being incredibly contemptuous of most humanoid life and exceptionally hostile.

They are allied with the Harken’s Heart druids, but also a reasonably large wood woad population. The squat, stern plants support the treants in their ongoing war against the Winterbole and the encroaching humanoid civilizations.

Juggernaut Charge. The wood woad has resistance to all damage from opportunity attacks.
Plant Camouflage. The wood woad has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks it makes in terrain with ample obscuring plant life.
Regeneration2E The wood woad regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it is in20contact with the ground. If the wood woad takes fire damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of its next turn. The wood woad dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate.
Tree Stride. Once during each of its turns, the wood woad can use 10 feet of its movement to step magically into one living tree within 5 feet of it and emerge from a second living tree within 60 feet of it that it can see, appearing in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the second tree. Both trees must be Huge or bigger.
