Dweomercore Release #2. The Chamber of ….[well I guess]….Secrets, if we are continuing to poorly plagiarize Harry Potter.
Map Notes. Again there are 2 versions of the map – tubes and tubeless – the image above showing the tubeless variant (although there are still all the wall mounted tube ends, just not the tubes running all over the map). The rooms are identical and if using walls/line of sight, would be indiscernible from each other for your players with the exception of the little alcove in the bottom left corner of Map A.
Specifics:
Room 33 is shown as the illusion. I have included a separate .png image token to overlay the non-illusion room if your players dispel the illusion. Room 34 I decided not to include the gold statue as it very well may reanimate and move about the room. There are again various lighting effects scattered throughout the map and few illuminated rooms (ie. library) that aren’t noted but helped with conveying depth. The tube running to a random point above room 34 isn’t that random…I am OCD enough that I actually calculated where area 4b would be if the stairs aligned). Files. I have included both Background “_BG_” and Transparent “_TP_” versions of each of the maps listed above; background means it has a flat grey image behind the dungeon, transparent means there is nothing there. For the Roll20 versions, this means the background version is a jpg while the transparent version is a png (jpgs don’t support transparency); Foundry are both dd2vtt files. If you want to puzzle piece the sections together like above (NOT RECOMMENDED), you have the transparent versions available for that. However, if you set up each map to an individual scene, you could use either, but the _BG_ jpgs will meet the file size limits for Roll20 (TP pngs may not!).
The zip files below have the Level 9 Maps C and C, in both Tube and Tubeless versions, as well as a GM overlay for each map. The token for Room 33 is included in each zip folder. Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px (this also holds true for the transparent images).
