298 302 West 83rd Street was built as a luxury apartment block. Today it has boarded up windows and trash gathering in the doorways. The only sign that the building isn’t abandoned is the seventh floor, where the windows are always open, and the lights burn day and night.
The area around West 83rd is notorious for violent crime and unsolved murders. This has reached the point where the police no longer patrol the streets.
There are dark goings on in the district and things come out at night to hunt on the city streets.
