When a colonist on a neighboring world disappears, a relative hires the PCs to investigate his sudden silence. Upon their arrival at the colony, they encounter an atmosphere of fear, and a plague of random outbreaks of violence. The heroes’ investigation eventually leads them to a startling discovery, one that may jeopardize the entire galaxy if they can’t find a way to stop it.
The Abyss Also Gazes is a short science fiction adventure using the Cepheus Engine, Cepheus Deluxe, and the Original Science Fiction Roleplaying Game rules. Other 2D6 systems are easily adapted.
