Renewed interest in Avarian artifacts and their remote sites has spread among the scholars and bards in northern Castiel. One such place is the infamously avoided Avarian hallowed shrine the Northern Cross Lunar Temple. Surrounded by thick forest and guarded by a fierce earth elemental, it is believed no living thing has stepped foot inside the ancient sanctum for centuries. What mysteries does this site contain, and can the temptation of exploring its grounds be ignored?
Worship the Ground You Walk Onis a Q Encounter, or Quick Encounter, that can be run for a group of four to six players with 4th level characters or higher. This encounter would be considered a ‘medium’ to ‘hard’ encounter.
Q Encounters are designed to drop into your game where needed. They are meant to add flavor to a campaign, giving a little depth to a combat encounter.
