The Western Heartlands

This hex map was created faithfully to scale from the Faerun maps available. It extends from Darkhold in the east, to Trollclaws and Boareskyr Bridge in the northwest and Iriaebor in the southeast. This covers a wide area, with Elturel freshly returned from Avernus taking the centre. It can be a staging ground for many adventures and apart from Elturel it is largely uncovered by modern canon. As a primer you may wish to consult the Sword Coast Adventurers’ Guide which offers information about the various places here.
