This document seeks to rework how poison is used mechanically in Dungeons and Dragons. While the poisoned condition as it currently is works fine, poisons in the general sense serve only to be a
damage type, one that is resisted quite often at that. We will attempt to address this by altering the poisoned condition to potentially be more deadly, and change how poison effects a creature.
