The Order of the Chimera Knights is a secretive order of monster hunters. Well aware that their methods may see them branded as the very monsters that they seek to eliminate. Chimera Knights are known for their unorthodox methods of gaining strength. An apprentice Chimera Knight remains in training until they have developed the constitution required to physically graft a piece of a dangerous beast to themselves. As they progress through the order Chimera Knights replace more and more of themselves with parts of the beasts that they hunt. Masters of the Order are often more beast than man, and only take the most dangerous contracts far from the furthest edges of civilization. Maintaining their mind in the body of a beast is the true test of mastery for these warriors. Monstrous heroes on the edge of the world there are few who have ever seen a Chimera Knight in person.
