Of all the stranger creatures crawling over the muddy grounds of unspoiled beaches and dwelling in bustling tidepools, the sham shell seems to enjoy the shell shepherd’s affection the most. Whether this is because of their vivid display of colors or the creepy-cute sounds it occasionally emits remains unknown. Despite all their quirkiness, the sham shell has to be handled with absolute care and caution. It is easily mistaken for an actual seashell and its venomous bite inflicts a quite violent pain.
