The Gravewalker in a Ranger subclass built for 5th edition dnd.
A mysterious force keeps you from death, due to a blessing from an archfey, a curse placed upon you, a magic item keeping your soul from reaching the god of death, a spirit’s soul merging with yours, or some other event. However you gained this blessing or curse, the God of death struggles to claim you, a feeling of dread constantly hangs over you. You wander the realm with a singular purpose, perhaps with the hope that once your journey ends you may finally rest, or perhaps another goal of greater importance will find you at the end.
The Gravewalker subclass is inspired by Talion from Middle earth Shadow of Mordor/War. A longtime favorite of mine.
