Lair of the Gorgon is a dungeon crawl in which a group of nascent adventurers invade the lair of a lone gorgon in search of treasure, glory, and perhaps ritual components. A number of potential plot hooks to bring your party into this adventure are included below.
This adventure is designed for Seasoned characters, but the difficulty of each encounter may be adjusted up by the GM as needed by adjusting the number of creatures appearing. This adventure may be played as a sequel to Crypt of the Drowned Dead or used as a standalone adventure.
Lair of the Gorgon includes
- A new antagonist the Gorgon, a winged medusa.
- A new magic item Dispel Potion.
- A dungeon crawl with maps that can be added to any SWADE Fantasy campaign.
Lair of the Gorgon was initially developed for the 5e OGL. It was initially released on Travis’s Patreon and subsequently compiled in the Fairhaven and Beyond collection available in POD and PDF. The SWADE version of this adventure uses the initial scenario, maps, and art, but contains all game traits and stat blocks needed to run the game using Savage Worlds! This book draws on the Savage Worlds Core Rules and the SWADE Fantasy Companion.
