Ruins Rivervalley Village
Twin wooden drawbridges—somehow still intact amidst the crumbling ruins—span a beautiful blue river that slowly meanders its way past rotting buildings and fallen stones, oblivious to the rise and fall of mankind.
Cracked crates and barrels, their timber spongy to the touch, lay abandoned. Cobweb filled stairwells lead down into more ruins, deep beneath the earth. What were once wine cellars are empty, the shelves within broken with age. Sections of the docks have crumbled, making it all too easy to slip and fall into the river below.
The river rises and floods the ruins occasionally, giving them a musty smell and coating the old stone with slick moisture.
